All,

To assist in the construction of the riders list, please add yourselves to this thread if you are planning on racing a Bantam next year.

It might also be an opportunity to influence peoples selection one way or the other with suitable tales of performance gain or loss or perhaps a brief bio of past and furture glory !!

Really good reasons could influence final sale prices Laughing

James

James Cook : Price last year £100 Points scored 84

I will be racing a 175 again next year.

Top scorer in breakdowns last year with 8, ageing rapidly, failing eyesight and suffering from rapidly shrinking leathers !!

Caveat Emptor

James lol!

Alan Brown: price last year £225
There was no change left for a pint and I broke down too many times, got a couple of bruises and it all cost too much especially the repairs to the leathers.
But hey thats racing!
Next year I will fit the super charger... (new rules???)
lol!
Cheers,
Alan

Last year's price - a walet bursting 25 squid.
Next year a full season is planned - on a decent set of wheels.
Dream on....

Want to be the first 175 bantam runner to win the championship as i came so close in 08!!

Mike Redhead, this year £50 , harsh but fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next year back out on white lightning in the 175 class, following Robbies example of trying to get rid of the power bulge in the front of the leathers, will also be trying to ged rid of the bingo wings and the bargain buckets I appear to be carrying in the back of my leathers, now only 134 days to Mallory practice, scarey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope to be competing in all the meetings next year, God willing.

Cost last year 150 quid. Points scored 143. My usual reliability unfortunately failed me at the end of the season with the gearbox finally getting a little tired.

I will be fitting a LT77 gearbox from a Land Rover Defender for next year.
A little heavy I know. Strangely the percentage increase in terms of combined bike and rider weight is very small ?

Go Faster Plans :

New exhaust. Use Av Gas. Higher Compression. Modified inlet tract
Get Slim Less Heavy

Steve , purley in the interests of fairplay I have decided to donate the gearbox from my landy, I absolutley insist that you fit it to your bantam !

Just for clarity, your modified inlet tract, is this something to do with the weight loss program? lol!
