I have a D7 engine and obviously it is 3 speed. I've been trying to find out if a D14 4 speed box will fit in to my cases?

We enquired about it and they said it's the same as the pvl, self generating, non adjustable, and also cheaper. My dad asked me why this couldnt be an option for the D10/D14 type 175's next year, as it would be all round ... Hopefully the weather today (Monday) is a bit kinder and commiserations to those who suffered mechanical problems , Hopefully they could be sorted . Forks and front wheel are Velocette LE. Engine has Todd head with domed combustion chamber and I think the head is actually for a 150 as the combustion chamber is 58mm dia. Barrel is 52mm, has been ported and has a larger inlet manifold welded on. Compression seems pretty high. Exhaust has a threaded adapter ring to allow larger diameter exhaust pipe. Carb is ... I've recently bought a 60's (?) bantam racer which is very unspoiled and very period. The forks are Velocette LE, engine is a D3 with a Todd head, Alpha crank and porting, crank stuffing etc. It's been very nicely engineered and the work done on it is really good quality. I'm not intending to race it, I'm sure that it wouldn't be remotely competitive nowadays, but I would like to do a bit of vintage sprinting with it. I just wondered if anyone had come across ... It now has an almost complete front end (minus a tyre and brake disc) albeit not on the frame yet, as i still have to rub it down, brace it, and send it off to powder coating. The engine is split and cleaned, and i'm in the process of ordering up a few bits, although i'm doing the engine work after i have a rolling chassis. Took a bit of a gamble with the wheel though, it's a Honda CB 125 RS front wheel which the guy said was 1.4" wide, ...
