I have finally made progress and made some decisions and made the first steps to having my bikes ready for practice day what's everybody else up to? How are the new builds getting on? How many will be out practice day? It's time to get excited only 20 days to go now so come on share your winter tinkering and plans for the new season.

Rebuilt my carb , waiting to run it up when I've got time , I'll be aiming for more than one lap to start with! Then maybe even another or even till I'm ment to stop. Need a trailer so that's on my list of things to buy/make , then I'm moving house soon too, just waiting for that to mess mallory .

Well it all starts again on Sunday and I think it could well be a close thing?

Nick has gone quite quiet so maybe he has been busy fettling his ex-
Pete Tibbitts machine ready to defend his title?
Ian and Mick were pleased with their bikes on practice day so all's well.
Mick Potter has now got a mono-shock 17" wheeled reed valve bantam
so should be well on the pace. I've got my two bantams both with changes,
Plus throw in maybe Phil Betty on his water-cooled, Snowy doing the odd
outing and perhaps Trevors bike making an appearance?

And then some 175 runners? Will this be the year a 175 wins outright?
I know Robbie has been busy but he has told me not to mention his big
Flywheels again - so I won't. James I think is looking to his former glories
so maybe it will be his year?

There is so many possibilities , old hands, newstarters, new purchases ...

Roll on Mallory.

A simple equation that makes a statement for the prevailing economics of 2013 ?

No rider + no money = No racing !
