VMCC Festival of 1000 Bikes 2013

If anyone is interested in starting Bantam Racing come along to 1000 Bikes at Mallory Park
13-14 July where there are plenty of bantam racers availble to talk bantam. Myself Robbie
Brown Rob Duesbury Ted Smith Mike Redhead and Mick Potter will be about and on circuit on
the Sunday.

Just a reminder - this weekend "The Festival of 1000 Bikes" at Mallory Park..
Race Bantams on British Historic Racing and also BSA Bantam Club stands..
6 Bantams out on track on Sunday..

Just wanted to add my thanks to the two Mikes, had my bike adorned with the business card flyers provided by Mike Mc and they certainly proved a massive success, I think of the pile that Mike P handed out to me I have three or four left, seemed to be a lot of genuine interest plus a few "well its not really a bantam" thanks to Mike P for some skillfull retorts, met some ex bantam racers lateish Saturday night, and my apologies for not getting your names, but after some of the stories you told me about award nights you probably wont want them advertised on here !

Nice to see Mike Powell win the past masters and see Rob Duesbury going like a train in one session, hope the balance of the mechanical woes are soon resolved and everyone has rehydrated, think I may have over hydrated Friday night, but recovered sufficently by Sunday, well at least I think so, top weekend and thanks to the rest of the bantomites who attended, past and present for the very pleasant company.

Yep, great weekend it was too.. a lot people are aware
that the racing of the BSA Bantam is alive and clucking.
We have definitely increased our profile so lets hope the interest
stirred at 1000 bikes turns into both new builds and other bantam
race bikes back on track and not mothballed in sheds somewhere?

Great Bantam social on the Friday/Saturday, and some good demonstrations
out on track on the Sunday, for those that had problems on Sunday - well they
would of happened at Lydden so its done you a favour anyway.

Every Bantam race bike at Mallory had flyers and cards on display , so effectively
we had 6 shop fronts... Many thanks to BHR , BSA Bantam Club, Ted Smith, Mick Potter,
Mike Redhead, Robbie Brown, Rob Duesbury and Mike Mc for the cards :-)
