Hi

A slightly changed formula for this year, you now have a budget of £1000 and still have to select five riders. If you do know of any additional riders or any exclusions let me know. Closing for entries is as the flag drops for the first race.

Good Luck

James

Ian Scutt 480
Mick Potter 425
Peter Tibbitts 385
Philip Betty 290
Tom Snow 285
Robbie Brown 230

Alan Brown 200
Nick Bramley 195
Stephen Frayne 185
James Cook 185
Ted Smith 180
Ray Davis 170
Andy Checkly 160
Mike Redhead 155
Steve Rowbotham 100
Richard Hall 100
Chris Bennion 100
Steve Panter 100

Tim Partington 75
Simon Bell 75

Hi James,
I would say that we will not see the following:
Simon Bell.
Tim Partington.
Sam Partington.
The Partington's are not likely to be out this year but hope for next seaon.
Cheers,
Alan

Just a quick question based on last years results shouldn't PT be more than me after all he had better results and MP has not ridden for two years and TS only did 1 race why so much. I only say this because i cant get down to 1000 without having a 3 year finance option so i have gone with the riders that i know will do most of the meetings and on last years results so here goes

Robbie Brown (175 champion £230)
Michael Brown ( 175 runner up £220)
Alan Brown (Tom Miller Trophy winner £200)
Steve Frayne (Always a good finisher £185)
Mike Redhead ( Most improved newcommer £155)

Ian,

This years formula is based on average points scored per finished race. So although Pete beat you in the championship he had more finishes at a lower average score, same reason TS value is relativley high (1 finish 13 points Chris Bennion is much cheaper as 1 finish 6 points). Others are based on the last results I could track down eg MP 2008.

Let me see...

Pete 385 (good value for money!)
Alan 200 (got to support the team!)
Bennion 100 (I ruddy hope he finishes!)
Redhead 155 (reliable?? )
Hall 100 (come on the Richard!!!!)

After that there is just enough change for a steady drink at the Dog & Duck.
That me folks!

I hope to be doing a few meetings this year (finances allowing) but not the whole season, so don't choose me.

Hi Pete

Thank you for your faith in me for grabbing a few points in the summer but looking at the season i think at best i will only be doing 2 meetings this year. Going to try and do a bit on the frame on my bike and get it to handle ... feels like i am riding a horse (not that i know how to do that anyway!)

Cheers

After much deliberation,

P Tibbits £385
A Brown £200
S Frayne £185
M Redhead £155
M Thomas £ 75

which I worked out with shoes and socks off, comes to exactly £1000 which is a feat in itsself! (no pun intended)

Good luck to all competitors for 2010
