Good afternoon all,

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to mount the tank and seat. It is a d7 frame and jimmy seat and tank.

Hi Ed
I get some spikes made 12mm diameter and 25mm long drill a 4mm hole 10mm up from the not pointy end. The flat end is brazed to a rectangular plate 25x50mm. Then these are fibre glassed to tank/seat/fairing etc...

My post makes sense to me but i realise my not to you? Do you want a picture?

Ed here are some spikes(pic1) ready for my new seat/fairing they are made out of mild steel. Pic2 is the underside of a set featuring alloy spikes not good they wear away..... Hope this helps.... Mike
