here here tony

great to see all those faces and history and memories even if we do not fully remeber them all, there is much more to come and Mike has done a great job with this - controlling the amount loaded but more importantly they must save them in the pictures file not creat new each time

them they will be lost all must be put in the same place and we should not have it open to the public but be asked to accept people, to look in with rules, as I do not have the time trawlling through lots of different posts to see the photo's as there are some great pictures and comments, that are even now difficult to find they should all be loaded in the same place. ?
just some advice before it gets out of hand.

It is a very good page and more photos have gone up today, there is a button at the top of the group that says "photos" and they should all be in there but i could be wrong.

Once again I'm out in the cold. I refuse to use 'facebook' due to hearing too many bad story's about it.
Please can some one transfer the photos to this site ???

Hi Ned

there are currently 140 photos on there in only 6 days since Mike set it up and more are arriving every day.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think its practical to transfer them here.

The facebook page is so successful precisely because its easy to put pictures up there where as its a *much* slower job putting them on here.

Hi Ned
Mick is spot on George Todd sent me 44 photos today more on the way he's phot mad, it would takes weeks to get on here, these phots are of a very young tony jones, Mick Fred and a few others, they are just great

He also sent over all His tuning notes and pads exhaust, and some very interesting stuff on his life and the support he gave to the late G.Blair, I am going to try and load them on here, but its so much easier on face book,

I always remeber in the gym the words "dont get mad get even" well dont moan just get on there and get upto date" dont listen to all this crap about it its all properganda - rubbish, just be carfull who you allow as a friend, I have to accept those I like but not those I dont.

Thanks guys, just logged on and had a quick look. Popped out to the garden for a smoke and when I came back found that she who must be obeyed had seen the welcome to facebook email and deleted it. Because we vowed we would never use it she assumed one of our grandchildren that stopped over this weekend had downloaded it. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Hi Ned,

It should still be in your deleted folder and can be put back as new if that helps.

PostSubject: The Stasi are wazching...   Facebook page Icon_minitimeTue Jan 31, 2012 6:08 am

Just now, I tried Facebook again and their monitoring system asked for my password and the name-of-a-friend*** -- so although I don´t have any I gave a name and await the outcome. Since the wall came down here in Germany the Stasi (East German Gestapo) haven´t had much to do so they are probably watching me....

Funny thing was THAT I DID GET THE PICS the first time I tried for them -- now I cannot!!??

*** first time Facebook have done that -- they usually tell me my password is wrong or I am not me (as I said before...) -- and reject ....
