175 Conrod Empty

I am currently building a 175 Bantam race bike for use in the United States and I have a BTW head and barrel that I will be using, does anyone know if the following rod sold by Rex Caunt will be sufficient? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BSA-BANTAM-CON-ROD-KIT-FITS-D5-THRU-D14-WITH-3-4-CRANKPIN-DIRECT-REPLACEMENT-/151576764349?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item234aaddfbd
I was told that they have run these rods to 9,000 rpms without problems or should I use the Maico rod that is suitable for the 175?  Using the Rex Caunt Bantam rod would make it so I could avoid boring the flywheels for the larger Maico pin.

Thank you, Andy
