Bantam crankcases Empty
PostSubject: Bantam crankcases   Bantam crankcases Icon_minitimeThu Apr 23, 2015 5:39 am

I found a request from Rex for works drawings/blueprints in the "wanted" section. I am posting here, simply to keep the request current, in the hope that someone may be able to help.

I have no experience of the 175cc, or the four speed versions of the Bantam. I would imagine the crankcases were very similar throughout the whole of the Bantam's production run, any differences being to do with the change from three to four gears; possibly different main bearing/seal sizes as the motors were made more powerful; cylinder stud spacing/crankcase mouth enlargements; detail differences in the lubrication of the main bearings? Moving the points over to the primary chain case may have necessitated changes to the crankcases, too.

Have I missed anything Question
