I have a whole heap of mostly old racing pictures I have taken of BRC members past and IOM TT and Manx and wondered if anybody would welcome the chance to see them, some are interesting even!
I can scan them to JPegs so not a problem, just need to work out how to get them on the site! Let us know what you think ...............

Wünderbar Keith!
If you have any of the Llandow meeting 19th May 1973 I would much appreciate ....

The way a lot of us have had our pics onto here is by sending Edward Pickering and he as a good poster of pics does so -- Maybe even our Trevor has mastered the art -- or evn another IT expert can help....

Cheers young man from Deutschland...!

The following is the procedure I have found to work, Ed does it far better than I can but I just hate to continually pester him with my demands.

1. Register with www.photobucket.com which is an image hosting site.
2. Upload you pictures to the site and they will be stored in your “library”
3. When you left-click on the image in your library it will display with a selection of links alongside it.
4. Left-click on the “IMG”, this will flash yellow and say “copied”
5. Log in on the Bantam forum and select “new topic”, a new page will appear with icons along the top, select “insert an image”, ( looks like a tv with a green circle at bottom right) a box will pop up, ignore this and right click on the clear part of the page and paste your image, techno babble will appear, don`t worry, if you need to write an accompaniment to the picture do it here.
6. Click on “preview” box at the bottom of the page and the picture and dialogue can be viewed to see if all is well, when you`re happy, click “send” and with luck it should appear on the forum.

Best of luck, Trevor

Hi JB, and thanks Trevor for the how to do it bit .. wonderful!! Anyway, my collection of photos up to about 1971/2 were all in a negative folder that was placed on top of my van by someone who will remain nameless (me) during my move to a new home, and somewhere between Wanstead and Woodford was deposited on the highway ... needless to say my oldest negs were no more, unless someone picked them up (haven't seem my huge collection of er dodgy pics though so I assume that the folder and contents are no more ....!)

However, I do have a fair amount of others including some from early bantam meetings, so I'll scan them and see what I've got. In the meantime, those I have already scanned I Will attempt to stick on the website soon. Anyone seen Lofty Elliot? I've got a lovely shot of him at Lydden on his Honda 125, don't know about JB, I only went to Llandow a couple of times, and each time it P....d down so NOT my favourite place ... having said that Shelagh my partner is Welsh so I suppose I deserved it!!

Trevor I'm sure that I bought stuff off of your little enterprise many moons ago, as I think we all did with Bernie, didn't you live in Bedford? I don't know my memory or lack of is doing my head in, I know I have loads of memories tucked inside what's left of my brain somewhere I just don't know how to find them ....!!!!!!!

JB your memory seems to be working fine and I'm jealous that you can recall and tell those lovely stories of your previous life as a racontour, lover and mechanical genius, not forgetting the undoubted expertise on two wheels .... (occasionally!)

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

PostSubject: It´s Alright Keith...   Racing Photo's Icon_minitimeMon Feb 22, 2016 5:53 am

It´s allright Keith  as long as your time is not past -- or is it passed?

"Mechnical genius??" -- you must be thinking of someone else -- my personal Bantam tuning (with Icarus-2) was atrocious -- it was Colin Neil´s bruvver wot did my motor for Icarus-One and it revved to all off 8,500.... In our race together at Lydden you just went away and I fell orrffff ...

Llandow has memories of starting my first race in the dry in 4th place at end of 1st lap. Then it started raining and the first three came back at me --  was wonderful!. The wet road and Llandow´s two bends made it like a grass track.

That was the day Niffy broke his leg in the 1st Novice race... Bill Lawrence & two Other East Enders were driven to BridgeEnd Dock to see him with me driving all the way back to London.......

Between Three & Four `O´ clock the hands (old fashoined clock, of course) will be contra -- completely opposite that is...-- once. What will the time be?
Clue:-  The answer looks better in minutes and elevenths of  minutes -- or-- if you must use deecimal  0.090909ss´s s.

Hmmm!

Cheers!
