| I take part in a couple of fantasy leagues and thought it might be fun to have one here. You have a £750 budget to buy 5 riders. You dont have to spend your entire budget but MUST select 5 riders. Points are accumulated based on your riders race results. If a rider does not enter a meeting you score 0 points. The highest total points at the end of the season is the winner, riders and cost are shown in the list below. Mike Powell £550Mick Potter £500Ian Scutt £450Alan Brown £400Miki Sprosen £350Peter Tibbitts £250Stephen Frayne £200Robbie Brown £150Aiden Bent £125Philip Betty £100Ted Smith £90Ray Davis £75Michael Brown £75James Cook £75Carl Coombs £75Simon Bell £50John Baker £50Chris Bennion £50Sam Partington £50Richard Hall £50Either post your entry on here or email/ private message it to me. If there are enough entries I will arrange with Alan to put up a running results page on the website All entries to be submitted by 09:00 on 27th April 2008 James |

| Using race results excludes the possibilty of a potential `star´being discovered because of the variations of reliability and individual bike performance. I´d go for those who might prove their worth (at reasonable and economic cost) by comparing performance when using Mike Powell´s Bantam (removed without his knowledge, of course). Make it a `practice day´ at a randomly chosen track. It´d be similar to running a Super-Pole at a WSB meeting, only using that one bike. Selection:- Simon Bell John Baker Chris Bennion Sam Partington Richard Hall All at 50 each. Can´t be bad... Then (whilst imbibing the remainder of the 750 at a local holstelry) compare the best with a Mike Powell lap (of the same circuit, of course)... Cheers! | |
