Ned, having raced against you I never thought you'd get to the stage where you'd never buy mag's, whether bikes or birds ! You were a hard bloke to beat...

Had a quick flip through it in WHSmiths, ques horrendous due to sales, will get a copy next time. Is it just the BHR write up with pic or is there a separate write up about Ian somewhere else in the mag? Be nice to have an old pic of dad Mick on his Bantam at the IOM along side a pic of the new champ Smile

Seasons greetings, happy new year santa

It's a review of the BHR meeting at Cadwell Park. Graham Lawlor writes the articles and I send in the photos (usually half a dozen or so) The photos are chosen by the editor.

Ned,

Those elbows retract at speeds above 70 mph, to reduce aerodynamic drag when significant. At speeds below that they are used to fend off the likes of Mr Betty etc. Smile

Happy new year to all, and I agree the photo looks much better on the screen than in the mag!

Pete,
and (of course) for the attention of anyone who gets too close! Those elbows are fitted with the latest Titanium tipped revolving bones, capable of tearing through the very latest of fairing armour! also, it has been said the electronics on the bike are there as the firing mechanism of a small but powerful thermo-neuclear device, that homes in on the rider at the front....clever stuff...
All this and a quick bike, I am dreading the long straights....
