I keep getting messages from different computers saying that the BSA Bantam Racing website has dangerous malware in it ! Is this my punishment for putting a Suzuki piston in my all original B175, or has anyone else had similar warnings ?

Hi John,
I am struggling to solve the Malware problem as the server people are just no making any reply to my protestations at all! and I am uncertain how to deal with this.
Please can everyone be aware of this until it is solved or I get fed up enough to move the site completely and change the web address to avoid all the troubles.
Alan

Alan, the best way to combat it is to delete the site completely, sweep the site files on your pc thoroughly and reupload. Pain in the ass i know but the only way. I personally don't get any messages and i'm using some hefty stuff on my pc. I would be interested to know what anti malware software the people reporting problems are using and what are the exact messages/what virus's they are finding etc. Some AV programmes mistake Javascript for malware and you are using a third party java programme for your menu, it may be as simple as that.

Allan I checked with Google Diagnostic page and it says no Malware in last 90 days. I have just been getting the warning on my MacBook (which has no security, usually all malware is Windows based; one of the reasons for using Mac OS ! ) that was previously OK. I get the warning on hospital system, would think they have some hefty system; and home PC , will check when back next week.
Its winter school hols here, skifield is -4 and snowing. So will go for a ride out of sunny Christchurch to show the lad Eyrie and Tram roads where Wright/Burns, Munro and Britten speed records were run.

Mick, I just get one of the "visiting this site may damage your computer" in the yellow blocking band at top of IE page at work. Or red label/grey box on blank page in Safari.

Aha, that's IE being overprotective, it's the Javascript, i'm sure of that.
