Whats lightweight about the san remo compared to the rest - borrani, dunlop, akront, motrad, hagon? Normally flanged rims are heavier but look better. WM1 is fine on the back with a Dunlop KR825 tyre... Mike

The San Remo alloy rims are NOT flanged - I guess thats why they are lighter than the Akront Morad types, etc ? I plan to use one of the back of my bike and see if it works !

Hi Jon, I agree with Mike in the WM1 rim stakes, I saw the San Remo style so if it looks like it will be OK I may have a change next year as I have a steel rim on the front of mine. What kind of price are they? Alan
