Articles for web site

Whilst I am recouperating I have time to add articles to the main web site for the club. Please feel free to pen something and I will add/subtract to help if required, and we get a bit of fresh writing that the site could do with!
Many thanks to Chris Bennion for the old programs that are now added to the site and make fun reading, interesting the added info that shows the lap times and race positions! Hope we get some more?? Chris??

Much appreciated, and yes the back is getting to the point where I can get out and about, and now I can drive as well. Still plenty of time for healing but at least there is an end in sight with some measure of normality!
Plus I can at least get to the meetings!

Hi Alan

Really pleased to hear your making progress.

I pushed the bike into the shed from cadwell and not opened the door again since, so looking forwards to the shut down when I,m planing to strip the bike to start my prep for next year.

we are only making minor changes a new tyre / new carb / new screen broken after my trouser soiling moment out of the
goose-neck into mansfield / we experienced the 1st gear jumping out so we may put a slight undercut on the first gear /lashaft slider to reduce this or stick a new slider.

We have a new bike for Edward to complete, changes mainly the carburetor, after much deliberation, we are moving to the mikuni range, we have two new carbs 30 and 32, I am looking for some jets we purchased some jets of ebay but they looking at them the quality looks suspect, chinese copies, - who should I be talking to get a set, any idea on what sizes we should have for these carbs, they are none power valve types.

We took some time out last week to go to the bike show -we picked up some nice goodies to wear so i'm hoping to at least look the part, in 2011, also I'm on a diet this will take a backward step during the festive period, but continue after, it not easy you know, Blimy I'm 50 next year so have a permanent ring.
