| Figures for this year below, rules are you have to pick five riders and spend a maximum of £1000. Formula is based on average points scored per completed race multiplied by a factor to give a sensible number (hopefully) Please let me know any missing riders. New riders with no history will be priced at £75. You can make as many changes as you like up until the flag drops for the start of the first race. Good luck James Peter Tibbitts 350 Mike Powell 380 Ian Scutt 350 Tom Snow 225 Mick Potter 210 Mike Redhead 200 Michael Brown 200 Philip Betty 200 Nick Bramley 200 Robbie Brown 190 Andy Checkley 180 Stephen Frayne 150 Derek Betts 140 Chris Bennion 135 James Cook 100 Steve Panter 75 |

| I have what must be considered as a seriouse complaint, on the numbers, why do I have a higher number than you james! now come on I must be lower than you, Ive had tens years off.
I would suggest you have a seriouse word with a calculator, and try again, - seem we all do a lot of this "try again" !
hope your well looking forward to the comming season, I do not see Alan making many comments who is really quite of late,
I assume he must be very busy extracting or connecting more rains for you to hold on to !.

regards Derek Its the magic of maths, you had three finishes scoring 10,7,9 average points scored = 8, I had one finish scoring 6 average = 6 its that simple that's why Pete is slightly lower than Mike despite winning the championship. I think Alan is still busy working on my demands for a Teasmaid and a cake stand, long way round some of these circuits. I sort advice on the maths from one of the PHD's at work but I am not clever enough to do maths with letters so it was a dead loss :-) Anyway :- James' Jolly Jesters Ian Scutt - 350 Mike Redhead -200 Robbie Brown - 190 Derek Betts - 140 James Cook - 100 Total 980 |

Derek, You have to pick five not four riders for your 1000 so back to the drawing board. Having moved from Lincolnshire to Oxfordshire recently I have been learning the lingo, as well as being a native Northern speaker I can now also manage conversational Southern As I lack the intellectual capacity to build a sufficiently powerful and reliable engine to improve my power to weight ratio, my main development target for the coming season is actually to loose weight. So a combination of diet and exercise is under-way if my maths is right my target weight should give me the same power to weight improvement as finding an extra 3bhp in the engine. other than that, try to resolve the gearbox issues and then setup work. Nothing any more exciting than that, are you still on target for a full season ?? |

| I feel like Valentino Rossi!! I finish 3rd but the maths says i'm worth the most!! I don't see anything wrong with James maths - looks spot on to me! James like myself did his schooling at Cherry Willingham!! But he escaped and now has fleed the county!? Steve Panter is he racing? only ask as the article on Allens said he once raced a bantam - gave the impression he doesn't now? Hope he is..... Anywho due to my education i'll have to get one of my sons round to tell me who i can/cannot, have/afford and do a probility sheet or something? James who won it last year? | |

| james - intend to do as many as time allows.
still can not see how I can be 140 & others who finished above me, have lower score.
I do not agree with the "Fox" though, clearly you have not completely lost your senses, but I agree with the others "you been down south too long".
now lets try again. steve F 75 Mike Breadhead. 200 Robbie Brown. 190 Mike Powell. 380 Derek Betts 140.
