Mike just spotted while reading, a few old posts that I have missed an item of interest on an old post -just noticed you said that your running different materials on the front disc, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

So what are you running ? - I notice nobody else spotted this little gem, mind you there's been a lot on lately, and obviously this has been missed, as I can see no comments on it,

reason ? unsprung weight ?
where made ? home made / purchased ?
what materials is it made of, hand more importantly how much more power does it give you !!
materials - STAINLESS done before / alum / MAGNISUIM ? / OR A PLATED HARD ANODIZED ALLOY ?

also is this information only for satellite teams too !! ?.

Derek.

Oi Mike

Just been thinking about this "weight thing" again, "you honestly belive your 72kg" your the same height as me ? how can you be 72kg. ???

look I know this was posted over a week ago but "please" no comments or delayed reaction remarks. "it does take time to sink in sometimes, I think its marriage related.

Its a material thats very old its called 'cast iron'! It offers a better brake I feel, only taken me 10yrs from thought to manufacture. It was a new car Disc Ford Escort? A friend had it part machined, but it needed more maching - mounting and cooling holes etc so it went to Toms for a couple of years (he was busy), i retrived it again after I racer tested Roger Moss's Scott and he said to give it to him - to give it to to his mate Eddie. It was duly finished and I used it the end of last season.... Mike
