| We all know that Mallory has been completely re-surfaced with grippy tarmac!! and everyone is looking forward to it? But just a word of warning? (new) Anglesey was made with super grippy tarmac and its lovely... if you stay on! If you come off however your leathers stick to the tarmac like sh1t to a blanket and the only thing moving is your body 6" further down into your leathers and that can hurt not to mention all the bruises and friction burns! I'd like a fairly grippy tarmac! MCN today 'Florida Speedway Daytona 200' was resurfaced in super grippy tarmac - tyres couldn't cope they were 'chunking?' - Dunlop tyres asked the organises to cut the race short on safety grounds... And think of your tyre wear!!!!! Mike | |

| Spoken to a few people that have done practice at mallory since new tarmac and they say "its well slippery, Gerrard's has more bumps than before on the exit and Edwina's has been made straiter " .
I agree with mike big time about anglsey that hurts even in the wet.
Roll on the 8th! |

Roll on the 8th! Having been to Mallory last weekend I would have to say there have been no actual changes to the track layout itself apart from being resurfaced. The "view" into Edwina's is straighter due to the removal of the marshal's post on the entry to the corner but that's all. Rusty | |
