At the bantam reunion meet 2005 I met up with a lot of my old racing friends( I started in 1964 ), John Sawer was there and
he called over to me, we spent a lot of time talking over the old days then he asked if I would like our old bike back, need I
say more. The following January I pick up JS1 from his home in Worthing and over the last 5years( on and off) I rebuilt it,
I have made a few alterations to the power plant, after all, I built the motor way back in 1978, I have tried to keep the bike
looking as original as possible and all being well, next season will see JS2 back on the track with my old mate ( not as old as me)as jockey with instructions to use the whip as per new rules.
I wish you all a merry Christmas and may 2012 prove successful.
Les.
