Returning to this thread because I don't know how to post pics to explain something I noticed in the latest photos from - 'Festival of a 1000 Bikes'.
It seems Mike is having problems mounting the fairing the way they originally were. Probably due to a larger centre exhaust section ?
Comparing the the photo of Mike's bike at the 'Festival of a 1000 Bikes' and the one of mine in the 'Oldies photo section' you can see the in the photo of mine that the keel was parallel to the tarmac. At least Mike wont have the problem of washing oil out of the keel after meetings like I did.

Thought so too Ned -- and he´s sitting up as well!!

Just been cleared -- hopefully no longer a menace -- of spreading viruses or is it, (`virusi?). ON my PC it was on e-Mails only -- not web-sites -- 5 of the b...s with Biblical names. During early June I got warnings of e-Mail overloadings or some such thing and had that attended to -- I thought -- and on the 14th June Avira blocked access to all my files. I couldn´t even use this PC as a Word Processor which had been first reason for acquiring the b... thing!!

So, I hope none of you have been attacked.
Cheers!
JayBee.

I did notice that Ned, also Mike would never go for aesthetics over performance so we will have to see what plan B is Wink

thats an interesting comment Mike!,

But as I see it politically I feel the more original and period looking our Bantams look, at such events the more appealing our class will become to others looking in.

I seen the photos posted on face book from the festival, It was a little distastefull of the one of my bike, but Mike photo dropping down Deviles elbow is just "wonderbar" "for our little class", I took my silencer off in the last parade to make as much noise as possible, I am now partly deff in my right ear, as a result, huray for silencers and ear plugs.

I never new that defness is said to be a form of brain damage. !! ! make sure you wear your ear plugs is all I can say on this.

kind regards Derek
