After a bit of a search and a slice of luck I have just purchased one Short Stroke Bantam for my eldest son Sam.

It is the ex Andy Moulden /Matt Whitcombe air cooled bike.

We will see you all at Cadwell but he wont be riding yet as he is not sixteen until October.

I'd better get used to late nights in the shed ! Very Happy

Tim.

Good on yer Tim,
we need new blood in the sport, he can join in with young Michael Brown as part of the "Young set". How about you joining the older (and more wrinkly) crew? and find a bike to ride?
the Matt Whitcombe machine is a nice piece of bike and always seemed to be reliable.
Good luck to you both. See you at Caddy.
Alan

Greetings old chap. Whats the progeny of this machine? Bore and stroke etc. I've rather lost touch with Andy Moulden's cast offs. I belive Alan Brown has one, much modified I might add.

Could get rather interesting out there...

Thanks for the comments chaps........as for me making a return to the track in wrinkly, but lithe form !......who knows, anything is possible!

The machine spec will be divulged at the weekend......but the main performance enhancement is that the rider will be sixteen, slightly bonkers and about three stone lighter than most of the opposition !.

C ya Sunday Very Happy
