Hey Guys,

This is the bantam as I found it, I am going to make it a road going racer for something diffrent. I love small cc bikes I have a an A100, VB Cappra 125, VF Cappra 250, Bridgestone 100 and GPZ900(cruser for longer trips). I have restored everyone of these bikes and was looking on ebay at rolling frames and I wanted something english, some how it found me.

So first of all is to make it a roller, as you can see from the photo it has been used on farm or as trails/dirtbike.
I am mainly intrested in frame mods required and wondering a few things.

First is with the Rearset, is there anyone running bolt on setups or are you genrally running the welded setups?

Also 90% of you apear to be running alloy rims, I am wondering what is the easiest way to get a front end shocks and triple clamps with disk brake caliper hub to lace into alloy rim at the front and back whilst keeping the orginal rear hub?

The problem I am going to have is that if I use adaptor plates for the caliper on the front forks I will have trouble getting reged and on the road(had trouble with RZ350 with RGV 4pot conversion)

Also what is the brand alloy rims do you guys run or what bike are they off.

I have found heaps of info on the site about motor mods and gearbox's ect. but not much about the frame and suspensions and wheels.

I do have a box full of spare motoplat ignition stuff left over from montesa's and bultaco's I have owned and I have Clip On's off RZ I had, Also top fairing race style of XBR I once owned which I can scale down.

Any advise would be great, I do have some knowledge on bikes but this will be my first full mod as all my others have been standard but restored. I.E. Picture below

Cheers, I am glad I caught before it went to scrap, People throw out so much good stuff and still continues to amaze me everytime I find something awsome.

I have had a look on the site re: frame and front shocks setup I can do 36hole rim at the front and 40 on the rear to keep the orginal shoe rear end. But question which triple clamp shocks and disic hub to run at the front. I was thinking of running 18inch x 3.00 tyres front and back?

Can anyone tell me what it is D7??

Must say this site is awsome, I love the 125cc GP and was sad to see the last of it die last year at phillip Island GP. going to moto2 so no 2-stroke pro rcing series left..
