PostSubject: DNF'S   DNF'S Icon_minitimeTue Apr 17, 2012 11:40 am

just seen the results on face book.!

what a great turn out 15 Bantam, who was missing

Colin edd/me Malcolm, andy molden is he racing this year. ?
was Rex entered.

if every one turned up that would be 21 ? I think and there seems to be a few more still building my ed is one of these.!

More concerning looking from the outside in/is was the number of DNF'S, and unless your in the !work's team" - I think it may be helpfull if we had champions looking after new riders, help and assistance in the paddock, if they are still breaking down then we can take the sensorsed out of the champions,! anyway, food for thought, I remeber when I first started there was a wealth of help and support in the paddock with some comming to look, and not having to walk round to find someone, I think it should be a lottery system, each one of the front ! reliable riders, runners should be looking after a new guy carmly taking through the important things to remeber like ? well I dont know, but Iknow there are a lot of things that should be done before you get there, this is especially correct for the new starters,
the paddock can be a lonly and frustrating place especially when your having relaibility issues.

im assuming everyone knows what a champion is for instance Tom Miller is a champion for Ian and a few others Rob Im sure is one for Michael especially in the Paddock and when he first started.

I noticed there were 10 DNF's 75 % of the grid broke down across the 2 races, this is not a good advert for any class for others to come and join in the fun ! missery more like, anyway this is simply too high a number for any class to survive long term with good numbers, something needs to be done to assist those who are clearly not doing something correctly. i can not see how many are 175 and how many 125 broke down ? this would be interesting to see?

So lets look at "why failures occure".
1) bad luck.!
2) engine problem.
3) frame problems.
4) run out of fuel.
5) some one elses fault.
6) Gearbox issues.
7) over tuned/fatigued.
Cool poor prep.
9) in-experience.
10) lack of suitable knowledge.
11) fell off
12) taken out
13) simply not enough time to get ready, properly.
14) not concentrating
15) some one disturbing you during prep making you forget what your doing ? (putting the plug cap on/taking the rage out the carb/fitting the drive chain, fitting the float bowl drain prug etc etc.
16) some iddiot taking you grass tracking ! perhaps!

Excluding Eddy and Trevor, please dont Pm me but post it directly to the forum, if you need to send me somthing email it to derek@bespokeflooring.com, I can then see iand others can not, if Idont reply rmeind me as iM HAVING TO wait untill I get home infront of a computer, to reply.

and I'm not likley to spot PM's on my phone and I dont know how to reply to Pm's by this method,

regards Derek

PostSubject: Nice being on Facebook...   DNF'S Icon_minitimeTue Apr 17, 2012 10:59 pm

Nice being on Facebook -- you can get all the results ... Nice being able to log-on to Historical racing on VMCC link, also --- then you know ALL the results ...***

OK! so I have a degree of patience -- I can wait...

What I know so far is that Ian won the first Bantam race and broke down in the second; Nick and ... had a real dice in that one and Mick Scutt was 4th & 5th in his first return ... Well done young Sticky!! .

Wonderful reporting -- not quite up to the standard of 60´s to 70´s time ....

***I cannot log-on to any of those. I just got a warning from Facebook that someone has been criminally using my identity on their site and I have been informed that I AM NOT ME!! Definitely not!

Probably the same on here. I would never have set myself up as clever-brainy-bullshitter -- quoting famous scientists and doing mathematical calculations like what I have just been reading on here. No, not me!

Cor Blimey -- No!!

PostSubject: Thanks Ned!   DNF'S Icon_minitimeWed Apr 18, 2012 4:08 am

Thanks Ned! That´s what I tried -- along with Facebook -- and it didn´t happen. I have had a lot of problems with my PC since an expert worked on it after I´d been Wormed or hit with a virus last year. Everything skewed and then I couldn´t get back on... so I had him in at great expense.

Anyway -- no matter -- I expect the results will come up in time and I won´t be missing much in waiting.

Here´s hoping you are keeping well and keeping well above the smelly stuff.

Cheers!

HI John I am a computer plank so I don't understand why if the 'forum' link works for you the other links wont.
Have you tried googling 'HS sports timings'
PS - Serves you right for cavorting with that lot that were throwing bombs at us salt of the earth

Hi Young Ned!

Yes.

Strange page.

Had 2011 and previous year´s results.

I tried each heading and nothing came that had anything to do with 2012....

OK -- so I am cyber-dumb-dumb and don´t care!!

Cheers!

PS -- Young Ned!

Got it! Of course JayBee was a right dumb-dumb, thinking the picture of a scrambler meant results from scrambling and that "Motorsports" meant car racing....

Should have realised there´s a new meaning to the English language (particularly on internet web-sites...) and publications -- so I have just put a conical hat (with "D" on it) where I used to have hair...

So Tom Snow must be heading the championship and duffied-up several Ducatis -- well done!! that young man!!

What happened to that young man, Mike Powell ?? and young Carcreek???

NB: Note well! everyone else is YOUNG now that my age has been exposed on here!

Cheers!
