| Target setting for next year ? Want to know what you might get for 100 points scored - Will Nick get four wins at Cadwell and break the 500 point barrier ?? Points for position since the GP style scoring scheme was introduced in 2006. | |

| Very interesting? I see if you have more fast riders sharing wins that is a low scoring year.. ie 3 contenders low points 2contenders high points!
Think it will be hard to guess who will do what at Cadwell - Ian's the fastest if his bike keeps going, Nicks fast and reliable and i have a talent for stealing race wins. Add to that 1.Mick Scutt getting up to speed be it on his bike or Snowy's, 2. Snowy (is he at Cadwell) 3. and what if Mark Carkeek turns up on the Trevor Amos machine?
Whatever its been a great season... and very open for next year...

| I´m gonna be at Cadwell...
Bring that layshaft you broke a couple of seasons back Mike -- both bits, please.
I just love sniffing the smell of unburnt methanol that comes out of those old bikes running very very-rich on dope.
I ran my 1927, 500cc Triumph at Cadwell on methanol -- didn´t have a big enough jet so I bored out the Amac one with a 1/8th" -- 3mm -- drill. Went like a demented camel -- solid back end, 3 gears, still hand change and finished about tenth -- -- it was CRUDE but fun.
Mark Carcreek looked really fast off the line last year -- I wonder what makes the bike so quick. Maybe a big spare flywheel some place twixt motor and rear wheel....??? Show èm how its done Sticky!
Only joking*** -- Cheers!
*** as usual. | |

Do the bantam boys have a meet up after racing as it's end of season?
Kind Regards

| Thanks Eddie, If all the old bits of the body -- and the pump -- hang together I´ll keep you to that. I am trying to get son Slick motivated into getting himself accross because I think it time he took an interest in Bantam tuning. I don´t suppose there´s anybody reading this would remember a Cadwell meeting in `71 when he was 6 and burnt his hand on clutch bits I´d just removed ... I always had hot Bantam clutches at Cadwell....
Go well and stay well... Cheers!

| Hi Trevor it's nothing we did not expect while trying new avenues of development hence why we had started on a more advanced version from what we have learnt from the last few years developing this one ready for next year, you learn from trying and even though cadders will not be the complete setup for next year getting an understanding will put us in good sted for the winter and trying even more adventurous lanes, as for dads that was just an unfortunate problem that can happen to the best prep bikes in the world but (tong in cheek) wil never happen again. Hope you are well

| James - your figures are skewed - possibly? You have a different amount of championship scoring races in different seasons remember the Angleseys with only sunday races and a 5 round snetterton this year, to compare years you need to have amount of races divided by number of races... lol
Ed ... we have a social meeting in February ... dinner/dance trophy occasion in Derby next Feb.
Ian - your like Pedrosa and HRC ... next years model this year!! lol Remember your 'problem' with your '2009' motor was cured pre-production on my '2010' version thats why my cylinder head wouldn't fit your bike at Darley, Hope your 2009 motor has retro-fitted up-dates and doesn't disapear - after all it won the 2011 championship!
Regards Mike | |
