Swinging Arm Bushes ? Empty
PostSubject: Swinging Arm Bushes ?   Swinging Arm Bushes ? Icon_minitimeFri Mar 19, 2010 3:38 am

Hi,

Has anyone used Metalastic Bushes, (Silentbloc), etc, to replace the original Bantam Bronze Swinging Arm Bushes ?

I know that they are used on lots of modified Triumph Cub Swinging arms, which are virtually the same as the Bantam.

Thanks, Jon.

Hi Jon,
The silent block bushings were not the best idea ever! I tried them out many years ago and they were Jelly on corners... Stick with sensible bushs, no problem after that.
How is it coming on generally?
Cheers
Alan

Thanks Alan,

Bronze bushes it is then - thanks.

The bike is virtually finished - all bronzed-up now - rear disc sorted, just the engine to consider, port configuration, heights, shapes, etc, etc.

Brian is working on a Barrel and Head for me.

Spending too much money at the moment - need to curb expenditure !!

Jon
