mike 20 and 27 these are not on the BSA SHHET FOR std or cr gears are these specials and what size gear goes with them, ? never heard of these tooth sizes before has any one else?

Yes your quite right it should read 26/21 gears Mainshaft slider 21 part number 90-458 Layshaft slider 26 part number 90-457

An interesting read and have a copy printed readyfor the auto jumble as i will probably be the one counting the teeth!

are there any tell tale signs to look for before counting teeth, ie round pegs and oval holes.
