| Surrey University have a Froude DPX0 water dyno up for grabs.
60 bhp 10,000 rpm, the same type as the one I used.
Run a chain drive from the gearbox sprocket so easy to set-up.

There is also a DPX2 on offer as well - 150 BHP 7500rpm.

I think you should be looking for a coolant assist pump from a Ford Galaxy or VW Sharan.
We run one of these on Aidan's machine (Bosch part).
The trouble with the caravan water supply pumps is that while they are about 1/3 of the cost of the above, they are not designed for high water temperture (60 deg C), only water at ambient temp. They also take a very high current and flatten the battery quickly.
You pays your money and you takes your choice. | |

Getting the part number will probably be more easy than getting Aidan's opinion on drops, but I will try on both.
Out of interest the pump we are using came from some tests we were doing back in 1986, but I know that George Farenden found a very similar part on his recent Galaxy.
