How to post pics on this forum

How to post pictures on this site.

I assume you have the picture on your computer and it is called something like mybike.jpg.
What you need to do is upload your picture to webspace, anyone’s webspace. You may have webspace allocated to your dialup/broadband account, or you might want to use a third party webspace such as http://www.flickr.com/.
To upload you need an ftp program. There are plenty of free ftp programs available.
When you have uploaded your picture to your (or someone else’s) webspace you can point to it on a forum post by clicking the “insert image” button above the row of smiley faces.
You will see {img}{/img} appear.
You then need to insert the address of your image in between these two “tags” so it looks something like this:
{img}http://www.flickr.com/photos/myspace/mybike.jpg{/img}
or
{img}http://www.freeserve/myname/mybike.jpg{/img}

If that sounds too difficult just upload all your favourite bant pics to say www.photobucket.com (that's the one I chose) and click the pic button above or cut and paste the bottom of the 3 options next to the pic in photo bucket. It'll all make sense once you've uploaded them

Hi folks
This is one of several interesting pics I have from the l970s. Cadwell Park 23 July 1977, first lap of the 12 lap Bantam Championship race, at the hairpin on the 1.5mile course.
In the lead is Terry Brown, eventual Championship winner.
On the extreme left is Keith Webb.
No. 25 is Dave Brown
No. 19 is Roger Louis
No. 4 is Pete Styles
On the inside is Clive Dawkes.
I'm riding no. 36 and had previously led the Inter race for 6 laps before locking it all up at the hairpin and letting three others past. Won it the following year though. Ted Smith will remember...
