Hope you read all the info about this bike on the Old forum, got pics of it's first race at Cadwell to put up next

Pic is of me and Ray poss 1977. Bike is my first bantam, we bought it from a guy in Oadby, Leicester 76/77ish so would of raced the season before is name poss Bob?, Bearded chap had two bants for sale. It was hand painted in sky blue and unsilenced . Engine basic long stroke, big crank, alpha rod, single ring piston, Cr box, 4 plate clutch and points . It was not a bad little bike it would do lap after lap around a local airfield, entered it for it first race at cadwell and ended up just pushing up and down the pits all day long Following year bought another engine from the local newspaper £40 I think and put sparkright car elec ign on it. This proved more reliable also had another piant job and a different tank and fairing.


Remember the bant had standard bantam forks a front wheel, we had the Honda CB72 front wheel and forks, not that much better though.
