I`m hoping my new front end will cope with the extra power and speed generated from the new 190cc engine.
Also that the wheel construction can get around the regulations regarding mag wheels?

Well done Trevor & Nigel -- we needed a bit of a giggle on here --

By the look of it -- only used in the rain or the spokes fall out.... ....

Terrific one liner Nigel, had me chuckling out loud.

Yes John, best keep the wood nice and wet and swollen to keep the steel rim on, not sure what the scrutineers would make of it, love to be there to get their reactions on a camcorder, could go viral on U-tube!

Eleanor claims that Constable`s "Hay Wain" wouldn`t look quite the same with that bike in the stream instead of the cart?

But isn`t the whole thing a wonderful flight of creative imagination, humour and execution!

Reminds of a visit I made to an ex-army-apprentices school buddy in Taunton not having seen him for 65 years. Before we left his cottage to go for a pint of bitter (or two..)  he removed the wheel from his wheel barrow. It was similar to that in your pic... As he took it up to his bedroom I asked his wife WHY?

She said, "Being wooden, Nev thinks it is a vintage and people around here pinch*** wheelbarrows when they have their wheels in,  anyway..."

Perhaps that is Nev´s wheel in your pic, Trevor ...

About time an investigation was set in motion -- enn´it ?

***Pinch -- uhh... Pinchers, Nigel - what about it?

Cheers!

JayBee.
