points at Cadwell

For all who will be awarded championship points at Cadwell.

Andy Checkley has asked tonight if he can be left out of the points system at cadwell. He is unhappy at the possibilty of taking points from riders who have been trying hard all year, with him only doing this one meeting.
So for this meeting only he will not be awarded any points.
If anyone feels differently please would you make your views known before Cadwell.

i don't mind .... the spread of the season has had riders come and go .. if andy is awarded points .. it's all relative. of course we all have our personal ambitions but i would rather it be on pure merit rather than have any concessions to make it so.

I think Andy should get any championship points he qualifies for, and not be concerned about upsetting anyone. Could make it more interesting!

I agree with Pete and Ray - you turn up ride you score points! Thats racing its always been the same. Andy will not upset anyone....

Looks like normal points scoring and Andy is out voted! he did not want to upset anyone, but looks like he will not anyway. I myself preferred him to get points in the normal way regardless. I always think that champ points are an incentive to turn up at a meeting!
Should be a fun meeting, looks a good weather forecast for once....
