Greetings,

Due to Sam's enthusiastic riding at Cadwell we now need a new fairing for the steed. Does anyone have a contact number for Mr Gellcoat Esq.
Such an unusual surname don't you think !

Tim.

Dear boy,

It just so happens that on 26th inst I shall be taking delivery of a job lot of Launchbury fairings which are light weight woven cloth and appropriately finished in battleship grey. (In case Jimmy Gelcoat reads this, i'm still having the Launchbury he is making for me, which i shall probably sport as Sunday best).

You are welcome to have one of the job lot of 3. Usual rates apply.

Greetings,

That sounds just fine to me Smile

It is most kind that you have anticipated next seasons livery and used the appropriate primer Laughing

Will give you a tinkle and we can savour a Wincarnis or two !

Tim.

Well, I thought I was, until I realised you must have suffered from that old Pilot's complaint - Finger Trouble! Laughing

I now have the promised stock. The calendar is getting tight so we'd better book ourselves a time/facility for the partaking of the aforesaid wincarnis, and exchange. £50 to you.

These are basic mouldings. One piece bottom half, no tonsil, dzus fasteners, or screens.

Messrs Hunter, Jones (Cliff) and Chris Newport send their regards. Bassy cannot get back into the site, I suspect he has the teutonic gremlins.

Mr. Bass will get an email from me over the weekend to sort out his log in details... You will all be subject to his writings again!
Hopefully the problem is not his computer cos I can't solve that one!

PostSubject: Thanks Alan!   Fairing Icon_minitimeSat Nov 29, 2008 7:34 am

Good to be back. Peter was on about me going AWOL and asked if he could do something -- seems Alan has... Have had a lot of bother with my New PC -- and had to replace the keyboard twice...

...I see there are still newcomers wanting to race Bantam and that is promising for the future. There was that bit on here about how much it cost these days and I am horrified. If I remember aright race entries were about a quid a ride...? in the late sixties. Attending a meeting wouldn´t cost more than a tenner to 20 quid depending on travelling distance to the circuit... Certainly Brands Practice days were ten Bob a practice session.

...Cheers!
JayBee (for John Boy not quite expired...)
