| Hello all (again), Are there any bantam racers/racing teams around Matlock in Derbyshire who could use an extra pair of hands? I would quite like to become involved in racing, but have neither the skills or budget. I am an apprentice machinist in Derby, and enjoy doing manual turning/machining, though I'll turn my hand to anything. I'm asking mostly because I want to learn more about engine tuning, as well as get involved in what looks like a good laugh I reckon it would be easier learning off someone than cocking up on my own. I'm building a road legal cafe racer bantam, which whilst I don't want tuned so high it becomes unreliable I want to improve a little. Oh, and I've got a spare pair of D7 crank cases and various internals Thanks Phill | |

| Hi Greenbat! There is Richard Hall in Macclesfield area, and then there is myself in South Yorkshire, I get plenty of help but I am sure that Richard will have some interest! How about getting yourself to the practice and race days at Mallory so we can meet you? Alan | |

| Ayup Alan. Practice day sounds good. Can you just turn up and say hello, or do I need to join something? I certainly don't think my standard D14 is in any state for racing! Thanks Phill | |

| No need to join any thing Phill. Just turn up and this rotten lot will be all over you trying to rob what they can off your trusty steed to back out in the circuit. | |
