| unfortunately, due to school work, family problems, and upcoming university, i have taken the decision to not race next year. maybe after university, or even during, i may take up the choice again, but for now i'm afraid it's a no I would like to say thankyou to all of you for all your help and advice in all areas of racing, and building a bantam racer. As a result, i currently have a Tony Davis front end in my shed. Suzuki forks caliper and disc, clip ons, and an Aluminium 17" front wheel with Dunlop race tyre fitted. If anyone is interested in this front end please PM me. I can have it delivered as well if collection is an issue. Once again thankyou for all your help and advice. I will stay an active member on here, as it one day may help lol. Regards Zak | |

| hi zak
i too was in this situation when i was young. I built a bike of my own and i had only ridden it once at cadwell with a retirement. ... then had to sell it before i went on to uni. it took me a long time to come back to the sport and i often wonder what it would have been like if i had raced in those years post university. anyway it took me 20+ years to get back to the bantams and i am hooked again. you should try to find a way to do a bit in the summer break like i do and not lose touch with it. i work abroad and it means a lot of headaches just doing a few meetings a year but there is something that keeps wanting to make me do it again and again despite that.

| You may have noticed my witterings on my road project. Could you maybe keep your hand in in a similar manner? Just seems a shame to sell a bike you put loads of effort into. | |
