| Here's hoping you put on a good show Rob letting people know that the humble bantam is alive and clunking and generally to be found at BHR events!
Good Luck! | |

| Robbie went very well in the end, snatching a third from the jaws of adversity, with a time well under the magic 25 seconds. I remember seeing his bike on its side in the paddock, being worked on with a onlookers crowding round, spell bound to watch a Bantam being resuscitated. The other surprise was Torque sprinter, Ron Cheesman, who left his A65 outfit at home this year intending to ride his half a Suzuki X7 (now a 125). Instead he turned up with rigidised D7 framed 175 Bantam with a near standard engine, and mangaged a credible 28 seconds. Personally, I found the corners bit of an inconvenience (Torque Events site). Great fun, though. Hope to see some of you guys at our meetings this year, if you can fit them in. Robbie says Tom Miller's secret weapon (case reed) is coming along nicely. Blimey, his cooking engine was quick enough! Howard | |
