| It's been quite a while since I raced at Snetterton on a bantam, approximately 25 years, and I'm interested in what gearing you guys are using ?
Looking back through my old racing notes I was using 15x52 on my old long stroke and 14x51 on Trevor's rather fast w/c short stroke. Quite a big difference between the two bikes but then that's not too surprising !
This time Ian's ex Roger bike, air cooled short stroke, any suggestions on a good starting point ??

| That is not an easy question Mike Mc ? As 25yrs ago Russells was flat in top (if brave as you were) before it became slip the clutch in bottom. And now as 'Snetterton 200' Russells has changed again?? A what was Sear is now a hairpin 180* followed by a 90* left - so no high corner speed on to either straight.
I'm guessing? leave Cadwell gearing on?
And after Snetterton meeting we'll have a new 'Outright Bantam Lap Record Holder'

| Yep I think you gents are correct, I've been focusing on those long straights but the entry speed onto each is much less than in the 'good old days' !!
You're also right Mike that there will be a new 'Outright Bantam Lap Record Holder', well Snett 200 at least ! Don't think I'm a candidate unfortunately but maybe Joe B on his new rocketship ??

The numbers would look very strong if everyone turned up, I recon this will happen at some point, also I predict there will be even more next year.
What happened to that super hero, ! hansom ! fit and young "Chris B". ? anyone know ? I had an email from him a while back, looking all sunned, has he been out at all this year, he has one of those super fast 00's.
