Hi its Laura, Just thought i would let you all know that my dad is still in hospital in leceister at the moment. He is waiting for another scan on his leg. They said he had broke the bottom of his leg in 2 places and discolated his foot. I think he has broke his toe as well. They think they will have to operate on his leg and put pins and plates in it. He may also need a metal frame put on while it heals. They believe it may take 3 months to fix. He is in good spirits at the moment as he is high on all the drugs they are giving him. lol. He said he cant wait to get back out on the track. Watch out boys he says his season isnt over yet.

Will update you with more information when i find out.

Hi i saw Robbie yesterday(monday) and its true what Laura was saying - it must be the drugs - you would not believe the man had broken his leg 24hrs earlier!! I went with Lou and Michael and all Robbie went on about was repairing the bike ready for Anglesey!?!? Lou was going again today and Scutty Deb n Alfie went from Mallory straight to hospital to check on him. I think Robbie will be selling his crash leathers to the highest bidder coz they are now a 5 piece jigsaw !!!!

According to the results Ian won and Robby Brown was second in the two Bantam races. Congratutlations to both -- and to PT for the come back...
BUT: -- Now Robby is in hospital -- was he racing in some other class?

It was in the BSA / Velocette challenge race at the end of the meeting.

Hi, Sorry for not posting sooner, my internet has been down for the last 2 weeks

Robbie and i would like to thank everybody who has phoned and texted. A big thank you to Ian and Deb for getting myself and michael back to boston. Kim for driving the van back to boston on monday and Mike for taking Kim back home and myself and michael to see robbie.

The latest news is Robbie has broken low leg and is having a operation on Fri afternoon. He is looking at 6 months recovery.

Will keep you update.

Best wishes Robbie for a speedy recovery. It's good to hear you're in good spirits and ittching to get back on the bike. I think high bars, a thumb operated rear brake and forward pegs to rest your cast on should see you back on the track in no time.

Yes that the right, he got your text. Went to see Robbie before he went down. As far as i know op went fine. He has broken his ankle and just above it. Going back tomorrow.
