What a good show!!! Fifteen Bantams and all got out for the last race of the weekend. Sad to say they did not all finish, and the new chicane at the hairpin was not a success so was only there for one lap. If the rest of you had half the fun I did it was money well spent. Again congratulations to Nick for the championship and Mike for the Rick race win. Thanks to all for the help you gave me, just wish I could been out all season. Don’t forget the brands Hatch offer it was fun last year. Was hoping to see you at Cadwell Dan, may be we’ll meet at brands.

Yes, Cadwell was a great weekend - in fact its been great fun having a go all year and for that I have to thank Tom Miller, Ian, Roger, Tom Snow and everybody else that has helped me have a terrific time this year.

Ted, it was good to see you lend your bike to Rob Pemberton. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and even though his usual mounts are much bigger and more powerful he was full of enthusiasm for Bantams.

Just got back to Deutschland -- One word sums up up Cadwell -- FANTASTIC! Must try to be at a meeting for a whole weekend in 2013. We were there for only part of the Sundayafternoon but it was the important bit where Nick showed he deserves to be the Bantam champion... Wünderbar!

Tried to get support for the banning of skirts (fairings) -- it seems only right and proper that Bantams should be naked -- and increasing the size of flywheels but both fell on unsympathetic ears. Tom said bigger flywheels break gears -- supports a theory...!!

Mike gave me the broken layshaft (two years after the event!) which certainly proved the point & supports a another theory: fatigue failure... thanks Mike. Peter Tibbitts treated me like royalty and some of the Eastern Centre were very kind. Great to see Sticky back in action and was amazed at how many of his family were there. There were little sticky fingeras everywhere...
Saw Bill Kirkland, Ned, Tom and several more whose names got muddled in the old brain with me making a cock-up of fouling the introduction with Mick Potter by saying Mike Coombes & then ducking out -- sorry about that, Mick -- I would have liked a bit more time to get aclimatised to the situation and would have preferred much more time there anyway but the One-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed was also there ....!!

Can anyone forward a good reason for it: Why have that stupid kink just after Mansfield? Must be bloody frustrating -- or is does it make for more excitement??

Cheers!
Jaybee.

Right Ian! In my opinion there are enough natural corners at Cadwell without including artificial ones....

Cheers!
