After much deliberation, and encouragement,I managed to purchase a Bantam,it was very soon apparent that it would never be remotely competetive,
Did a couple of meetings with it, and quickly got hold of Brian White for a lovely alloy barrel, which i have to say, great for the money, how anyone can think Brian is on a get rich quick scheme i will never know..knowledge -experience-machining ability, and you can buy it!!!how good is that..What a great fella,Thanks Brian..
The bike improved greatly, shame about the rider(More improvement needed)
My first season back proved interesting.learnt a lot,but it was like being a novice and entering all the senior races, from back in the days of the Bantam Racing Club.
Always went home with a smile though, and for me that,s what it is all about.
Hope to see some other new comers this season.
Help was never far away if you needed it which was how it was back in them old days,so thanks to those who helped with advice and spare parts.. Cheers Robbie..
