Many thanks to Les Eggs who has given us all his bantam related stuff including the South East Centre - Bantam Racing Club Scrap book and Diary... an amazing read/look. It also has a lot of bits of John Sawers including the 1986 inter- table not done on a pc but on paper with a pencil !! those were the days.. Other things of interest - 16th March 1963 "1st Bantam Racing Club Prizegiving and Jazz Ball" price to you 3s/6d.... Loads of great stuff on there way for scanning.... get ready Chris!!

Anyone know who these geezers are? No idea how this ended up in my Bantam folder, but it says "BSA Bantams at Oulton Park 1967".. Certainly a Bultaco TSS fairing on No.34.

Its amazing how some of you remember some people by helmet design etc etc....

Was John Pearce - Tweeter?

Yes Derek that was Bob Newby!!

here's another from 1980 October Lydden meeting ... Must be an open as many Novices , Current Champ Pete Styles, my brother Rick is at the back wearing a Kangol Classic in black orange and yellow! Steve Chambers is 39, I can see Roger Louis, interesting one who is 22 wearing an old pair of Pete Tibbitts leathers (very 1970s)

I'm not to sure that is Roger, certainly his bike but I'm pretty sure Roger had colored leathers by then. I suspect it could be Mick "sticky" Scutt having one of the odd excursions he had on Rogers bike.
